As part of these works, Chatswood Central tasked Axis Lifts to provide a disability access solution to connect their new dual level car park with the retail level of the centre.

To provide safe and direct wheelchair access from the lower car park to the upper retail area Axis Lifts installed an Axis 16 enclosed cabin lift in a customised glass structure. The installed lift featured a full glass car wall with bespoke handrail and in-car controls providing a sleek and modern finish with easy operation.
